• February 28, 2006: Meeting of Executive Committee, NAACP Garland Branch, 6:30p.m. Women's Activity Center, 713 Austin Street @ Glenbrook, Garland, Texas.

• February 28, 2006: African-American History Month Program presented by the NAACP Garland Youth Council, 7:30p.m. Women's Center, 713 Austin Street @ Glenbrook. Theme: "Women of Courage, Service and Sacrifice" This program is dedicated to the life and legacy of Mrs. Coretta Scott King, the First Lady of the Civil Rights Movement. The public is cordially invited and encouraged to attend.
